If you could choose any study abroad destination, what would it be?
An amazing study abroad destination, especially for people who aren't from or haven't been to Asia before, is Thailand!
Is Thailand an all-time favorite, or something that recently sparked interest?
I visited Bangkok back in 2018 with my school and it was an amazing trip. There is so much to learn about the culture and community, not to mention the food and scenery is incomparable.
What is a "must-see" in this destination?
You definitely have to visit some famous temples, Wat Pho and the Sleeping Buddha was my favorite!
What do you like most about this destination?
The rich culture and the food!
Are there any local experiences you would recommend students outside of the tourist spots?
I would recommend taking a local cooking class, you learn so much about the community and the geography through the way they cook and the ingredients they use.
What is something unexpected you learned about this destination?
Crickets do not taste that bad!
