Hello, my name is Jolynn Drawe and today I will be telling you about my favorite destination on my bucket list.

If I could go anywhere in the world it would to Asia with the first visit to Japan.

I've wanted to visit Japan for as long as I can remember. I used to watch a lot of Anime and that looked really fun and made me want to go. I feel that it would be a good introduction into learning all about Japanese culture and the different Asian cultures as well. It seems to me that Japan is smaller and it could give me a good insight in how things work in that culture compared to the US culture.

It would be cool study Comparative Asian-American History as well as Japanese Language. I think the Comparative Asian-American History class would be most engaging for me if we were able to get a more hands on approach. For example rather than learning about certain artifacts such as chop sticks only in the classroom, we'd go to historic sights or learn how they are being made, visit festivals or incorporate traditions that were passed down as part of the curriculum.

I would want to visit some farming communities and places that are less touristy. Nara Park also sounds interesting. The Shika deer of Nara are known as the 'bowing deer" because it looks like they are bowing down to get a cookie.

And that wraps up my favorite travel destination and I look forward to learning all about your favorite travel destinations. Until next time; ありがとございます (arigatogozaimasu)
